busy.
Thursday, August 25th, 2005since mike was complaining that my site was empty, now it’s not.
i’ve been pretty busy and nothing has really changed.
I’m not done unpacking yet, since work has been busy, but I’m pretty close, just some books and stuff that goes on shelves, and then I have to get rid of some boxes and a bed. however, as my brother is coming in a week, he wants me to keep it for him to sleep on, except that means i’ll have a bed in my living room for longer, which isn’t exactly desirable.
But barring that, the new place is great. I like living in the city and the commute isn’t so bad, except that my gas consumption is gonna go up significantly; today I filled up my tank and spent $39, which is really fantastic.
other’n that, i got a haircut yesterday (wooo), and i’m watching the puppies this weekend. Also, PAX is this weekend so i’ll have to juggle that somehow with the dogs. Mostly i’m looking forward to the concerts and some of the talks and just seeing what’s going on. Last year i didn’t really play any games other than a tiny bit of Halo 2.
Oh yeah, i went to the Frozen Meats’ last concert in a while last week, which was really good. Their drummer is going to england until the end of the year so they won’t be doing much until she gets back. I got their super awesome demo cd. Only 4 songs, but they’re really good. If you want to have a listen let me know.
