Kevin: 1, SF: 1

Went back to San Francisco for the long weekend and NOTHING WAS STOLEN! I call that a victory, even if i didn’t recover my shirts. (I realized last Friday that i had also lost my I <3 Color shirt, which made me sad. so i bought another one. 2 days before threadless started their $10 sale. ah well.)
Lots of fun was had in SF, my pictures are on the flickr. we drove down on Friday night/Saturday morning, arriving in Napa at 10am to do some early morning drinking... i mean wine tasting. Then headed to SF to meet Robin for dinner and drinks. Sunday was touristy stuff - fisherman's wharf, cable cars, etc., headed to Japantown for dinner, and then we attended the awesome Bootie Pirate Prom at the DNA Lounge. Monday a little more touristy stuff - Coit tower, golden gate bridge, muir woods, and then the loooong drive home. it's better with 4 people, but still tiring when you get home at 5am, but it was a great weekend!
I did get sick, on the drive home, from which I'm recovering right now. Just a bad cold, but it's obnoxious.

Also, I figure if I've already gone to San Francisco twice in 4 weeks, i should go one more time, 5 weeks later. I need to have a winning record after all. But I'm flying next time.

other stuff…
Facebook added the ability for anyone to write apps, which is a great thing. Even if 90% of them turn out to be badly written, or silly and useless, it’s very cool that they are opening up their platform to anybody. mainly i like that i can link my flickr pictures to facebook. I don’t see the point in all of these sites making up upload the same picture to each of their servers. it makes more sense to put it in one place and pull it from there. I still don’t know what to do with Facebook, but i keep logging in, and i added some random apps, which i guess is what it’s for.

it’s nice out, i’m going home.
