back in black.
i made it back to seattle last night, rather tired. I don’t think i got more then 5 or 6 hours of sleep any night i was home. I kept sleeping late and waking up early for breakfast or shopping or something or other.
I finally decided on one of the jackets I bought, at a damn good price. The jacket started at $350, which is way too expensive, but it was on sale for $150, which is pretty good. Then on Friday, Wilson’s had an extra 20% off everything before 11am, so I got a price adjustment and the jacket ended up costing me $120. all in all a good deal.
The only other thing I bought was some socks at Express Men, which I only bought because if you purchased anything on Friday, you got a free really nice scarf, which had a price tag of $78. so my brother, mom, dad, and i all bought a pair of socks for $9. Express is dumb.
Other than my exciting shopping, i saw some friends and my cousin, went to see a cover band called Mega 80’s, had turkey (25lb turkey for 4 people… there’s a bit left over), learned how to play some Indian 3 card poker game and made $7 (starting with $5).
I believe this is the game we played, with some minor variations: Teen Pathi. I don’t remember the name, but the rules are the same, except that we could do a “side show” which really just serves to make the game faster. never mind, they call the side show a “compromise.”
It was good to go back home, but now it’s good to be back… home… in seattle.
i slept 11 hours last night, it was nice.
