buy.com and tracking.
i wish buy.com would stop having decent prices on things, because i really think it’s a terrible place to buy things.
bad customer service, slow at getting things shipped, they don’t send you email when things happen (like, for example, your order getting cancelled). but they have low prices on things at times…
anyway, i ordered a 512 mb flash card from them on August 5th. It finally got around to being shipping to me on the 13th, and is currently somewhere in between Kent and here i guess. Hopefully it’ll get here before tonight; if not it kinda makes the whole digital camera thing useless to take to a wedding, since with the 32mb card I have I can take about 11 pictures. stupid buy.com.
the funny things is, I was checking the tracking info for the card and apparently as of 8/17 at 10:17 it was at the sortation center in kent, and then last night it was being prepared for dispatch, at 6:11pm so it took all day to…… wait a second, the sortation center? what the hell is sortation? I don’t think you’re allowed to make up words when existing words, like the exotic “sorting” will do just fine…
well, I need to go, i have to organizationalize some stuff.

Yeah, buy.com sucks. I never buy from them anymore.
If that card doesn’t get there in time, I have an extra 32mb card you can borrow. Then you can take 22 pictures! Wooohoo! You could also dial down the resolution and take a lot more pictures. However, then you wouldn’t be able to see me in my entire FIVE MEGAPIXEL GLORY.

but that’s the thing, it’s just not a picture of mike if it’s not a 2,592 x 1,944, 2.5 mb file. it might as well be a picture of crap.
